Scottish pop newcomer Hannah Slavin questions life on “I Don’t Have a Clue”

Hannah Slavin is building on the successes of last year’s “I Don’t Give A F*** About You” and “Mac & Cheese” on her existential new cut. “I Don’t Have a Clue” is an anthem tackling mental health and the headspace created over lockdown in 2020. It sees Slavin questioning what life’s purpose is while lost in her thoughts. This is relatable content for all of us in 2020 – and the song is something we can listen to while we hopefully see those days out the door.

Speaking on the song, Slavin said, “I wrote this song with one of my closest friends during lockdown. We’ve definitely had our fair share of breakdowns over the past 12 months and this song pretty much sums up how we were feeling at that time. It was honestly such a relief to write it, and just exhale all of my thoughts and worries and just get it out of my head.”

“Looking after our mental health is so important and the best step you can take is to talk about it. I really hope it can comfort others who are going through a similar struggle.”
